We offer a once off 90 minute session to prospective clients to give them an opportunity to:

  • Evaluate us,
  • Determine whether we can help them,
  • Determine which approach they want to take: short term or long term.
  • And most importantly, for each of us to determine if there is a commitment to change.

At this introductory session you will be shown how we work, our expectations of you the client and what you should expect from us.

You will leave this session with a clear picture of how your relationship can be better and the commitment to make that happen!

Our approach is based on 4 steps:

1. Stabilisation

a. The focus in this stage is stop things getting worse than they already are. Short term strategies are put in place to stop the hurt and pain you are experiencing from getting worse and help you take back control of your life.

2. Communicating – My Love

a. Knowing how one shows others that they are appreciated and knowing how you like to be shown love and appreciation is at the core of our humanity.
b. In this session you will discover the different ways affection and appreciation can be communicated in a way that your partner likes.

3. My Personality Explained

a. How am I different to others? What are the strengths of my personality? How does my personality help and annoy those around me? These questions will be answered over two sessions as you learn about who you are and what that means to those around you.

4. My Future

a. In this final stage we build on the hard work that you have done to turn your life around and keep the momentum going as you start to live your life in a more productive and fulfilling manner.

b. We use the approach of coaching to identify your goals for the future and to put in place steps/actions to reach those goals.

In short – The aim of the Finding The Light approach is to give you a clear path to:

1) Stop your current hurt & pain from getting worse; and

2) A plan to get your life moving in the direction you want it to go.
