Ever wondered how you could live a better life with more meaning? Is my life as good as it gets? How can I improve myself? Here are a few questions help get you there.
1. What do I really want?
The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to do them. Find something that you are good at can help realise that small step towards improvement.
2. Should I really change?
What tells you that your need to change? Life going from one disaster to another disaster or it’s just boring or everyone else seems to be happy and I’m not. If your life is great, then there is no reason to change.
3. Do I look after myself?
Often, we get so caught up just getting through the day that we forget about looking after ourselves. When was the last time you did something nice for yourself guilt free?
4. Am I appealing to my partner?
Are you a good catch for your partner (or prospective partner)? Am I fun to be around? Am I a lovable person? It is hard for a relationship last when one or both in a relationship aren’t appealing to their partner.
5. What motivates me?
What motivates you – pressure, fun, love, health, debt, money or ..? Whatever motivates us will dictate how we do or don’t do life. But we need to be careful we don’t rely on just one thing otherwise our motivation might become unhealthy for us. If money is my thing, then I might forget about my family in my pursuit of it.
6. What Really Makes You Tick?
So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you want to be but is what you really want? Self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you must undergo, but it’s something that you really want.
